About
AI compliance shouldn't require a law degree.
Complaia was founded by Sille, a lawyer specialising in data protection and AI.
Her interest in AI regulation began in 2022, when she wrote her thesis on the draft EU AI Act. Since then, she's worked at the intersection of technology, regulation and compliance — and seen up close how hard it can be for businesses to turn complex rules into something they can actually act on.
Because AI compliance isn't just about knowing the rules. It's about knowing which rules apply to your business specifically, what you need to have in place, and what to do now.
That's the idea behind Complaia.
A platform that makes it easier to understand your AI landscape, navigate the AI Act, and keep track of the compliance that comes with it.
Complex rules. Clear next steps.
What we're building towards
The website you're looking at today is a first step. The long-term goal is a platform that does more than explain the rules — one that genuinely guides businesses through the process, step by step: identifying the AI systems they use, understanding which rules apply, and knowing what to do next.
That platform isn't built yet. The free transparency guide is a first, more focused step along the way.
